The place is great, we absolutely loved it! First time in northen ireland, could't be better! Thank you people :)
The barman (didn't get his name) was very welcoming and accommodating with a bit of good old Irish banter. He took very good care of me as I was on my own for dinner. I decided on two starters, halloumi and the chowder. The chowder (starter portion) would definitely have been enough and was faultless. The halloumi however was very salty and quite tough. The wine and service was lovely and I will definitely be back sooner rather than later. I would have awarded 5 stars if the halloumi was better but it wasn't enough to put me off at all. cosy atmosphere. lovely place overall with lovely staff.

Quality beer, friendly staff and food is great ! Highly recommended. I have also been here when the NW200 is on.... EVEN BETTER !!!
Fantastic spot to get away for a weekend or midweek break. Portstewart itself is a great wee town but our highlight was the Anchor. The owner was a gentleman and 10 of us were well looked after. Food great and rooms clean and tidy... will head back again soon...
