Great cafe with lovely scones and amazing ice cream. Good for a warm drink in the cold or a cold ice cream in the warm!
2:50 for a decent latte...best value indeed, would've given 5 stars, but had to clear our own table, and spotted other people having to do likewise.
It's closing! What a shame. The best view from any cafe anywhere in Northern Ireland. Food is generally pretty good but their Victoria Sandwich today was abysmal. Have to give the lady in the cafe credit because when I told her I thought she ought to consider changing her cake supplier she wanted to know why and how and what I expected from a cake and said she'd definitely put this forward when orders were being made. That's when the bombshell hit us. Roughans is closing and it's to become apartments. What a surprise. They are moving further up the prom but will only be having an ice-cream shop. Morellis watch out

The best ice-cream on the North Coast in my opinion. The views from the cafe above the prom are superb. There are two reasons for not giving 5 stars. Firstly there isn't much of a variety of savoury food compared to the other cafes in Portstewart and secondly the coffees are always overfilled with boiling water, despite any requests not to!
